Day 1 of the Learn Spanish Challenge has finally arrived. Watch the video!

I love that quote because it’s very applicable to where you are right now. The fact that you are reading this means that you are willing to learn. You are on the right track. You have spent your hard-earned money to purchase the Visual Link Spanish Level 1 course. You have the goal to become fluent in basic conversational Spanish, and if you follow the “Learn Spanish Challenge” everyday, then you will achieve that goal. Be sure to watch the video each day and do what your coach (Dave) tells you to do. It’s pretty simple.
The videos will be posted on the blog under the category “Learn Spanish Challenge”. You can also watch the videos on our YouTube channel, and I’ll be posting them daily on Facebook and Twitter as well.
So, don’t just sit there! Watch the video and start learning Spanish today!

Hola!
I have an older version of visual link. It doesn’t look the same as what is on the screen for this ‘challenge.’ Will it still work for me to do this challenge?
Gracias
Jeff

Excelente! Brilliant blend of technology and helpful motivation (without any annoying overkill) along with a pleasant personal touch. I look forward to following these videos as my son uses VLS to learn Spanish this year. ¡Felicidades!
Thank you very much for the feedback! Please keep us updated on how you and your son are doing.
I have the 2007 version of Level 1. Is there any way to update it to the newer Level 1? I’m wanting to start studying Spanish again and have been through Visual Link 1 but it has been a couple of years since I’ve gone through it. Just curious…I have used Rosetta Stone and Rocket Spanish and I do think Visual Link is much more effective for me. Thanks

Vamanos! (Yea, a few espanol words but malo spelling)
Excited to be learning Spanish. Will wait for the next lesson!!!
day 1
waste of time just a dark screen for a very long time
forget me
You had a dark screen appear?
The games keep me coming back again and again. The words come in a different so you don’t get used to what to expect. That’s what I use to review the learned lessons. I play each one of those at least 3 times a week then move to a new section and begin that one. I found this works pretty well for me. I also practice with a couple of friends 2-3 days a week for about 10 minutes or so.
Thanks for the direction. This is a very helpful motivator for me. I wish that the assignments would be summarized in the blog. (Written.) That way it would be easier to go back and review what assignments I am supposed to do without listening to the whole video.
Thank you for the feedback! I will add that to the blog posts, and Dave is going to show that at the beginning of each video as well.
Hi.
I purchased the software for this course a few years ago but I haven’t had the time to learn as much as I want and I keep forgetting what I have learned.
Your new course looks quite different to the one I have. Is there any chance of upgrading my software (for a much lower cost, of course)?
Sorry for the delay, Howard. You will be receiving an email from customer service and they will be taking care of you.
Jake, I also have an older version that I am wondering about upgrading, could you send me some info please?
You will be receiving an email from customer service shortly. Thanks for reading the blog!

Is there updates available. I have the cd version I bought about a year ago. I have not made it past the first lesson. I try and I just forget and become frustrated. I just signed up for the video challenge and was wondering if I receive all the lessons. I just received one and see no way to get to two.
Thank-you,
Eddie Hudson

Hello Jake and Dave,
I too purchased an older version of VL Level 1 (2004) as well as DLC (Digital Learning Center) and would like to upgrade to the online version. I need motivation!
