Day 7 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! Watch the video!

“If you think you can or you can’t do it, you are right.” -Ford

Learn Spanish Challenge, Day 7
Basic Needs Section 1, Unit 4:

Virtual Instructor
Listen and Don’t Repeat
Sentence Builder
Advanced Games

I love this quote because it is very applicable to goal setting and success. Success begins in your mind. Dave mentioned Mindbloom again. Did you sign up? Do you think it will help you achieve your goals and live a more balanced and quality life? I would love to hear your comments and questions about it.

Today’s video is a little bit longer than normal because Dave explains some new games and activities which you haven’t been through yet in the Learn Spanish Challenge. We want to make sure that you can focus on learning Spanish and not be lost at any moment.

On a related note, I am looking for guest bloggers who will post a few sentences or a paragraph about what they’ve learned and how they feel after each day of the Learn Spanish Challenge. Email me at jake(at)spanishprograms.com and I’ll give you more information. Please put “Interested in Guest Blogging” in the email subject line. Since there are new people beginning the Learn Spanish Challenge each day, your thoughts and feelings will be helpful to them.

These videos are being posted on the blog under the category “Learn Spanish Challenge”. You can also watch the videos on our YouTube channel, and I post them daily on Facebook and Twitter as well.

Remember that if you believe that you can learn Spanish, then you can learn Spanish.

I am assuming that many learners find the Bubble Machine to be helpful, but I don”t. Probably because: (1) I am not a great visual learner. (2) It seems to me, for me, remembering the visuals, adds an extra thing to be learned.

Having these daily (5 days/week) guided study is very motivating for me. I get a feeling of accomplishment when I have completed the assignments. So far, they are of good length.

I am hoping your showing how parts of the software works, will motivate the other senior citizens in my study group to use it more.

      Ruby,
Thank you for your feedback. Some of the games and activities work better for some than for others. That is just one reason why we have a variety of games and activities in the course. I am happy that the ‘Learn Spanish Challenge’ is helping and motivating you. Encourage the others in your study group to keep learning!

The more games you play and master, the better you will be.
