Day 22 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! Watch the video!

“The question isn’t who is going to let me; it’s who is going to stop me.” -Ayn Rand

Learn Spanish Challenge, Day 22
Grammar Section 4, Unit 2

Virtual Instructor
Memory Machine

Pronunciation Classroom
Bowling

Are you new to the Learn Spanish Challenge? Go to Day 1.

Congratulations for making it to Day 22. Today’s quote may seem like I’m promoting arrogance, but I’m promoting confidence and a firm belief in one’s self. If you want to accomplish something, (and I know you want to become fluent in basic conversational Spanish), then you are in charge. Let nothing stand in your way.

Today Dave guides you through the 4th section of the Visual Link Spanish Level 1 course, which is grammar. You will be going through Unit 2 of the Grammar Section and will be learning important Spanish grammar, like the different ways to say ‘the’ in Spanish. There is also plenty of review with 2 review games, the Memory Machine, and Bowling. I also can’t stress enough the importance of the pronunciation classroom. You can learn all the vocabulary you want, but if you can’t say it right then it won’t matter.

These videos are being posted here on the blog under the category “Learn Spanish Challenge”. You can also watch the videos on our YouTube channel, and I post them daily on Facebook and Twitter as well.

Congratulations for making it to Day 21. Did you believe that you would make it this far? I hope you did, because according to Venus Williams, that’s what makes you a winner.

Today Dave guides you through the 4th section of the Visual Link Spanish Level 1 course, which is grammar. You will learn some new pronunciation tips from the Pronunciation Classroom. Dave will also explain some of the differences between Visual Link Spanish and Rosetta Stone. If you have tried both, we would love to hear your feedback.

Congratulations for making it to Day 20. You have worked very hard to get this far, and you should be proud of that. If you have the opportunity to do so today, then have a 5-minute conversation with a stranger. This is a great opportunity for you to test yourself and have some fun speaking to others.

Today Dave guides you through the Unit 4 Additional Practice of the Survival Expressions section. He also invites you to join us and others on Facebook for support and practice. We thank you very much for participating in these lessons and sharing them with your friends and family.

Are you new to the Learn Spanish Challenge? Go to Day 1.

Congratulations for making it to Day 19. For every 5 days, you should take 2 days to rest and review any of the lessons you think you need to work on more. I like today’s quote because learning a new language takes us out of our comfort zone. We’re doing something we’ve never done before in speaking this new language. Great satisfaction comes from hard work, and great memories will come from new relationships and friendships.

Today Dave guides you through Unit 3 of the Survival Expressions section. He also invites you to invite your friends to participate in the Learn Spanish Challenge. We thank you very much for participating in these lessons and sharing them with your friends and family.

I want to help you learn from each other and learn together. With that in mind, I would love to receive feedback about how the lesson went each day from you. If you are interested in providing a few sentences about each day, then email me at jake(at)spanishprograms.com and I’ll give you more information. Please put “Interested in Guest Blogging” in the email subject line. Since there are new people beginning the Learn Spanish Challenge each day, your thoughts and feelings will be helpful to them.

Are you new to the Learn Spanish Challenge? Go to Day 1.

Congratulations for making it to Day 18. We have done our best to make sure that you don’t hate every day of your training, but we can’t guarantee that you will love every minute of it. Sometimes work isn’t easy and isn’t fun, but we do it because it must be done. There are immediate and long term benefits of learning Spanish. Enjoy the short term benefits (satisfaction, growth) and look forward to the long-term benefits (satisfaction, growth, fluency, relationships). Those are just a few of the benefits.

Today Dave guides you through the rest of Unit 2 of the Survival Expressions section. He also gives you some advice and teaches you how to roll your r’s. This is something that will be easier for some than it will be for others. There are even native Spanish speakers who can’t roll their r’s. Keep practicing and more likely than not you will be able to do it.

I want to help you learn from each other and learn together. With that in mind, I would love to receive feedback about how the lesson went each day from you. If you are interested in providing a few sentences about each day, then email me at jake(at)spanishprograms.com and I’ll give you more information. Are you new to the Learn Spanish Challenge? Begin at Day 1.

We have created the Learn Spanish Challenge to help you accomplish your goal of learning Spanish. We realize that there will be a few bumps along the way, and that’s why there are 2 rest/review days for every 5 days in the course. This is an opportunity for you to catch up if you had to skip a day for one reason or another.

In today’s video, Dave gives you some motivational advice and encourages you to keep going. He also gives you a pronunciation tip about the ‘d’. The Spanish ‘d’ is softer than the English ‘d’. He also guides you through the rest of the first unit in the Survival Expressions Section and gets you started on the next unit.

On a different note, I am looking for guest bloggers who will post a few sentences or a paragraph about what they’ve learned and how they feel after each day of the Learn Spanish Challenge. I would love to hear your feedback. Email me at jake(at)spanishprograms.com and I’ll give you more information. Please put “Interested in Guest Blogging” in the email subject line. Are you new to the Learn Spanish Challenge? Go to Day 1.

Congratulations for making it to Day 16. You are making tomorrow better by working on your goals today. Your confidence tomorrow will be higher because you worked on a goal today.

Today Dave will guide you through the beginning of the Survival Expressions Section. This will be a fun and useful section for you because you are going to learn fun and useful Spanish phrases. Also, today Dave challenges you to go and speak with a native Spanish speaker. Although it is certainly the best to do that in person, there are avenues where you can speak with native Spanish speakers online. This is a great opportunity for you to practice what you have learned thus far.

I want to help you learn from each other and learn together. With that in mind, I would love to receive feedback about how the lesson went each day from you. Are you new to the Learn Spanish Challenge? Go to Day 1.

You are on Day 13. You should be proud of the progress you have made thus far. You have taken the initiative to learn Spanish and make it part of your daily habits. As Dave mentions in the video, the more Spanish you learn and listen to, the more natural it will be and sound to you. Think about learning a new phrase or word in English; at first it may not sound right, but after you hear it a few times it will sound normal.

Today Dave will guide you through the rest of the Greetings section Unit 2. We want to get you speaking to anyone and everyone in Spanish. The greetings section will help you get over the first mountain so you will know what to say to begin conversations. This is an important step in being able to comfortably converse with someone in Spanish.
