Are you new to the Learn Spanish Challenge? Begin at Day 1.

Congratulations for making it to Day 92 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! Did you read today’s quote? Everybody is given the same amount of hours each day. You control what you do with those hours, minutes and seconds. You have spent hours learning Spanish, and you should feel good about that.

Today in the Spanish lessons, you are going to begin Unit 5 of the Travel section. This will give you ‘Additional Practice’ for what you have learned in the Travel Section. Dave also encourages you to take advantage of any opportunity to study abroad. It doesn’t matter if it’s for 1 week, 1 month or 1 year. The Visual Link Spanish Level 1 course has given you a great base and has helped you become fluent in basic conversational Spanish. If you can, save up some money and do some traveling to a Spanish-speaking country.

Congratulations for making it to Day 91 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! Did you read today’s quote? It is very true with regard to learning Spanish. When you put yourself out there and speak Spanish with a native speaker or do something you’re afraid to do, that’s when you will have awesome moments.

Today in the Spanish lessons, you are going to review Unit 4 of the Travel section. Today’s lessons are the same as yesterday, but who can’t use some extra practice? This week there is lots of review, and next week we will be finishing up the course. Dave also encourages you to take advantage of any opportunity you can to speak Spanish with someone. It is important that you give yourself opportunities to build confidence.

Congratulations for making it to Day 89 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! Today’s quote is simply another way of saying that if you shoot for the stars, you’ll land on the moon; at least that’s how I interpret it.

Today in the Spanish lessons, you will get the ‘opportunity’ to review any of the lessons from any of the sections of the Visual Link Spanish Level 1 course. Dave encourages you to focus on any ‘Tune Your Ear’ lessons if you are having difficulties understanding native speakers. These lessons will help you to ‘tune your ear’ to the Spanish language and help your brain to relax and absorb what you are hearing.

Congratulations for making it to Day 86 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! If you are complaining about not having anyone with whom you can practice, remember that you need to go out and find new friends. This might be in your neighborhood or on the internet. Opportunities don’t always come to you, sometimes you need to present yourself to the opportunities.

Today in the lessons, you are going to move on to Unit 2 of the Travel section and learn the Spanish vocabulary you will need for hotels. Finding a place to stay is often the 2nd biggest worry in traveling, next to transportation. Dave challenges you to reserve a hotel in Spanish and see how it goes. If you feel like you made some mistakes, it may be wise to review your reservation in English afterward.

There is only 1 more section after this one and you will have completed the Level 1 course, which should make you fluent in basic conversational Spanish. You have made time each day to accomplish your goal of learning Spanish. Keep it up and remember that repetition and consistency are important principles of learning a new language.

Today in the lessons, you are going to learn how to rent a car in Spanish and what to say at the bank in Spanish. Spending money is an important part of a lot of vacations, so this is an imperative Spanish lesson for you. Congratulations for making it to Day 83 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! I originally stumbled upon today’s quote as a fitness quote; however, I have found that fitness and language-learning are similar. Consistency in both fitness and language-learning will get you much farther than cramming ever will. I won’t expound upon what Steve Young said, because I think his message is very clear.

Today you will continue with the Telephone Section of the Visual Link Spanish Level 1 course. You will complete all of the lessons inside the Additional Practice Unit. In the video, Dave encourages you to have a Spanish conversation with someone on the telephone. Do you feel confident enough to do that? Don’t let nervousness or fear prevent you from talking to someone in Spanish. You can do it.
